| The Story Behind the Song |
| I
wrote ALL THE TIME on a rainy afternoon in the fall of 1999. I was sitting
alone in my apartment with all the lights off and was playing my piano.
I was facing the patio door and noticing that though the outside still
seemed quite gray, the Oak tree beside my patio door was reflecting
a beautiful green light into my second story level apartment. I have
always been a fan of rainy or cloudy days in Houston. I love how the
light gets diffused and it seems to make the green tones an even more
intensified green. For some reason, the lyric, "I believe in miracles,
I believe that prayer can fly" came out and soon after came, "I believe
God is watching all the time." I have been writing long enough to know
that when certain songs come in such a way, I soon have a feeling as
to what their Divine intention is to be. I had a knowing that this particular
song would be for raising hope in a time of despair. Actually this song
has quite a story to it that is not quite ready to be told, however,
I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND playing this song in your home or car during times
where you feel doubt looming and hope being diminished. I have detected
tones in the song that are quite healing and assist the mind in coming
back to restoration.
I
hope that you might be helped, should you find yourself in need. Currently,
this song is being used as the theme song to Betty J. Eadie's television
promotional "Embraced By The Light." The show features Betty's # 1
NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLING BOOK (and my personal favorite), "Embraced
By The Light," and is hosted by Cathy Lee Crosby. |
