|
|
Rank your 5 favorite
Christian Andreason songs in order?
1. I'll
Remember You
2. All the
Time
3. You Will
Always be My Family
4. Everybody
Else and
5. The song
that puts all the others in their rightful place -- The "song"
that is “Christian's spirit” ~ which plays the unending music of
his divine purpose, far "bigger" and more meaningful than
any "one" song could hold... and audible only by the heart and
soul. |
|
Why is #1 Your Favorite?
This song
speaks to the preciousness of our human relationships and the un"conditional"
nature of Love. Love lives on in our hearts, even when
life circumstances separate us (temporarily) from someone we
love. Somewhere between the notes of this song, and within
its lyrics, my heart becomes one with the music, and the song
becomes my own.
|
|
What is your favorite lyric
penned by Christian?
"You
were a gift life gave to me, and I want you to know, that no
matter where I go, I'll remember you." |
|
When or where did you first
hear of Christian Andreason?
On
November 18th, 2002, in Seattle, WA., at the 10th Anniversary
celebration for the book, Embraced by the Light (by Betty J.
Eadie). Just when I thought the night couldn't get any better
than hearing my favorite author speak, I heard Christian sing.
And I thought, I am blessed indeed. My heart and soul have felt
the "beauty" and truth of God's love for some time now, but
that night, God set His truth (and Love) to Christian’s
beautiful music and my soul rejoiced! |
|
Do you own any of his albums
or EP singles?
YES
|
|
If you do, which ones?
All the
Time
|
|
Do you have a "favorite"
published photo of Christian? (If so please describe the photo
and where you might have seen it.)
Yes, (two
favorites): The photo of Christian on the luggage is my favorite
"solo" photo, but the photo of Betty Eadie and Christian has a
special place in my heart. Aside from specific photos, I like
all the photos that capture the joy that lights up Christian's
face when he is with the people he loves. |
|
Who would you like to hear
Christian do a duet with?
Celine Dion |
|
What magazine would you like
to see Christian appear in?
O Magazine (Oprah’s Magazine) |
|
What kind of a song would you
like to hear Christian write next (lyrically)?
A
ballad about one of these themes: 1. How we are called to Love
One Another, 2. How Peace in the world begins in our hearts, 3.
How All we do creates a ripple effect in the world. 4. How in
God's eyes we are "perfect", just as we are. 5. How the kindest
thing we can ever do is simply to choose love. ~But I know,
Christian doesn't need any assistance coming up with great
lyrics!!
|
|
Have you read Betty J.
Eadie's book, "Ripple Effect" which contains a description of

speak or write about spirituality or describe his outer

OK, Now For The
Really NEAT Questions! |
|
What is
your favorite Charity or Cause?
While there are many charities
dear to my heart, I guess I'd have to say my favorite "cause" is
expanding humanity's love for all beings.
|
|
Why is this Cause your
favorite?
It is my
"favorite", because if we were simply to love (others) more
deeply we could easily solve most or all of the problems in our
world. This deeper love for our fellow beings is the "key"
to ending world hunger, conflict (both on a global scale and
within our own relationships), animal suffering, lonliness,
environmental pollution, and the list goes on. Love is the
answer to every question ever asked, and the solution to every
problem ever created by man.
I see every
aspect of my own life, -- (from how I parent, to the volunteer
opportunities I pursue, to the charities I support, to how I
behave toward others in the grocery store), as an opportunity to
bring the power of love into any given moment. I guess that is
the "cause" I live for.
|
|
What 3
traits you find in others inspire you?
1. Simple acts of
thoughtfulness/kindness.
2. People who
exhibit the courage to live their truth.
3. People who
embrace their life as a unique gift from God with a Great
Purpose (and can laugh at themselves along the way to fulfilling
their great purpose in this life). |
|
What 3 traits do you dislike
the most in others?
I
try to pay as little attention as possible to the traits that
bother me about others. I know the good and loving intentions
that are within my own heart, (despite my own imperfections),
and I trust that those same good intentions exist in others as
well. I desire to see the love in others because that is what
brings me joy. I feel that God would want me to enjoy the good
in my brothers and sisters, and leave their "need for
improvement", if any, to Him. I desire that someday we will all
live in a state of "heaven on Earth", (where people see only the
goodness of each other's spirits - despite each others' faults),
and I know that the changes I desire to see in the world must
first come to life in my own heart. |
|
Who is one of your favorite
people (known by you) in the world?
My daughter
Katie. She never ceases to amaze me with her kind and generous
spirit. |
|
What is one of your favorite
childhood memories?
I remember when I was about ten
years old I helped serve a pancake breakfast at my church.
I was trying to be extra kind to the people who I was serving,
and I must have felt them responding because something in me
clicked that "this" -- (serving others with love in my heart)--
was the purest joy I had ever felt.
I don't know
if there is any moment greater in life than when we recognize in
an instant that we were "the one" whom God used on a particular
day to touch the heart of another with His love. |
|
If you threw a private party
and could have anyone in the world (NOT known to you) show up,
who would you invite?
Edwarda
O'Bara. -- Edwarda fell into a diabetic coma on January 3,
1970, (just a few months after I was born). I believe (if
God wills it), she will wake up in my lifetime, and live to tell
an amazing story to the world about the truth of God's
unconditional love. Her life story (which is entirely
inspiring, and filled with miracles) is told in my second
favorite book of all time "A Promise is a Promise" (by Wayne
Dyer). I highly recommend this book! At the end of
March, I will be going to Edwarda's 50th birthday party in
Miami, Florida. Edwarda's mother, Kaye, (who is a saint in my
eyes), has taken care of Edwarda in their family home since
Edwarda fell ill. She has slept in a chair by her daughter's
bed for the last 33 years, never for more than 2 hours at a
time, (because she must attend to Edwarda's needs every 2
hours). You can learn more about Edwarda's amazing life story
at edwardaobara.org.

If you were going to be cast
away on an island for a year, what 5 personal (non
survival) items would you bring with you?
If I
could not bring my loved ones or a phone, I would bring these
things:
1. A picture
of my husband and daughter,
2. A
hand-held tape player with my husband and daughter's voice on
it.
3. A journal
4. The Book
a Course in Miracles which is over 1,000 pages long and hard for
me to find the time to read in my daily life, and #5. Betty Eadie's book, "Embraced by the Light: Prayers and Devotions for
Daily Living".
|
|
If a Genie were to pop out of
a bottle and ask you for three wishes, what would they be?
1. I would
wish that my daughter Katie achieves her Greatest, God-given
Purpose in this life,
2. I would
wish to be successful in my own ability to share God's love with
others throughout my life., and
3. My last
(but not least!) wish, and prayer, is that humanity's collective
heart will open wide enough to let in all the Love this world
can hold, thereby creating a "heaven-on-Earth" environment where
we can all live as One. |
|
Anything else you would like
Christian to know?
You are a great light in our world
-- God's love is shining brightly through You.
I consider
myself greatly blessed to be one of the people touched by your
presence in the world. Your friendship is an unexpected
joy to me, and I will always be in your corner, eternally
cheering you on, and praying for the fullness of your purpose in
this world to be achieved. May all whom God has chosen to
be in your path share in the Love you give so freely, and
radiate it back to you a million times over.
If you could
never again sing another note - the music of your spirit would
be “more than enough” for this world.
And as I so
often sing to you from my kitchen in Massachusetts (thinking
perhaps you might hear me in Texas): ~~~
“You were a
gift,
life gave to
me,
and I want
you to know that
no matter
where I go,
I'll remember
you, ~~~~I'll remember YOU.”
